PITCHING LIMITS Courtesy Runner: If there are two outs and your catcher is on base, you can put in a courtesy runner so that he can get ready. This helps move the games along. 10 RUN RULE If a team is ahead by 15 runs after 3 innings or 10 runs after 4 innings and the home team has had a chance at bat, THE GAME IS OVER. 9/10 & 11/12 - PICK UP PLAYERS Pick up players can only come from younger divisions. Pick up players cannot pitch. Regular roster players should be played before pick up players. 7/8 DIVISION Each batter is allowed 8 total pitches, good or bad. If they foul off the 8th pitch they can keep fouling until they get a hit or strike out but must swing because of the 8 pitch max. ONE base on overthrow. Ex. Bad throw to first, batter may advance to second at their own risk. Bad throw to second, batter may advance to third at own risk. Etc. 7/8’s cannot pickup players. There are no younger divisions to pick up players from and all players must be registered to be covered by insurance. ALL DIVISIONS We play 5 inning games in all divisions unless tied and it goes into extra innings. No time limits. Keep the games moving by having your players hustle in and out every inning; have catcher ready to go. 15 point spread at the end of 3 innings (home team has batted) and game is over. 10 point spread at the end of 4 innings (home team has batted) and game is over. Games called due to rain count if 3 or more innings have been completed. Less than 3 innings completed and the game will be rescheduled.
THROWING BATS
If a player throws his bat after hitting and it goes more than a couple feet from the batter’s box the player gets a warning that the next time he throws the bat he will be called out. If he throws it again at any subsequent at bat that game the player is out.
