West River Batting Cage

Introducing the West River Batting Cage at the West River Community Center, available for use during the 2024 baseball season. Open to teams and players, it's a practical space for kids to refine their swing and develop fundamental skills. Located at 2004 Fairway Street, Dickinson, ND, the cage is at the end of the hallway by the daycare center.

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, please adhere to the following rules:

  1. Sign up for your preferred time slot using the Signup Genius link below.
  2. Arrive promptly during your allocated time slot.
  3. Remember to put the net up after each use.
  4. Bring your own baseballs for practice.
  5. Keep the kids away from personal training equipment.
  6. The Z Screen is located in the exit hallway; kindly return it after each use.

We're excited to share that there's no cost for parents or coaches to use the facility; any associated expenses are covered by the Dickinson Mustang Baseball program. Additionally, note that there are currently no posted instructions, so please follow the provided guidelines for a smooth experience.

West River Community Center Batting Cage Rules

Please read the following information BEFORE reserving time.

  • You do NOT need to be a WRCC member to use this space, but you need to check in with the front desk when you arrive.
  • You may not utilize other WRCC facilities before, during, or after your reservation unless you are a member or have paid for a day pass(es).
  • This space only allows for a small number of athletes at one time. It is NOT meant for team or group practices.
  • There is one batting cage and an L-screen available for use. You must provide all other equipment necessary for your session.
  • This is a shared space for many user groups, including WRCC personal training. Fitness equipment in that space is off-limits!
  • Supervision is required at all times for athletes using the space as well as other children/siblings who are brought along.
  • No food or drink other than water is allowed in this space. Leave the space how you found it. The last user of the day is asked to return the batting cage to the wall and use the straps provided to secure it. Equipment and L-screen must also be put away, along with the batting cage net.
