The Dickinson Mustang Baseball Club offers players the opportunity to step up and fill in for older divisions when teams are short on players. To maintain fairness and consistency, only players from approved age groups and divisions are eligible.

Eligibility Guidelines:

• Call-ups must come from the approved list of players in the division directly below.
• Players from the same age division may not be used as substitutes.
• Only the following age groups are eligible to play up:
  • 8-year-olds (born between May 1, 2016 – April 30, 2017) may play in the 9/10 Division
  • 10-year-olds (born between May 1, 2014 – April 30, 2015) may play in the 11/12 Division
• Players outside of these age ranges are not eligible for call-up.

Coach Communication: This list will be shared with coaches in the 9/10 and 11/12 Divisions. They may contact eligible players and families when additional help is needed.

Call-Up Player Rules

• Players must not miss their own league game to participate as a call-up.
• Call-up players are not permitted to pitch or catch in the older division.
• The team using a call-up player must first play all rostered players before inserting a call-up into the lineup.
